Day 1

Departure from Porto at 8.30 am, and trip to Torre de Moncorvo, with a stop to visit Amarante. Lunch in Torre de Moncorvo and boat trip on the Douro River in Barca d'Alva. Visit to Escalhão, Ethnographic Museum and Church. Accommodation in Castelo Rodrigo.

Day 2

In the morning, we’ll visit the rock engraving nucleus of Ribeira de Piscos and Quinta da Ervamoira (wine farm). Lunch and guided interpretive tour with a nature guide, in the Faia Brava Natural Reserve. Return to Castelo Rodrigo. Dinner in Almeida.

Day 3

Birdwatching at the Aguiar dam and walking along the cliffs of the Águeda River at the Chapel of Santo André. Lunch and visit to Pinhel or lunch and train journey Pocinho / Pinhão along Douro Valley - World Heritage. Return to Porto with a stop at Régua, arriving at 19.00.
