National Park of Peneda Gerês

The only national park in Portugal, created in 1971. 100 km long, mostly mountainous, encompasses the mountains of Peneda, Soajo, Amarela and Gerês, and has a rich fauna and flora, as well as a precious historical-cultural heritage.
